    thanks mate.

Tube is really bad. Had a friend on a beemer with tube, and punctured. a pain in the ass to change, and you can't even push the bike without the tyre coming off. The KTM Adventure is a great bike, think they really should change it to tubeless. Seems too troublesome/costly to do DIY conversion after buying bike.

Think cos tubeless spoked rims are not as cheap as compared to the standard tubed rims. With tube also you can run at much lower pressure, perfect for offroad. think only the f800gs offers stock spoked rims and tubeless. I think the adventure rock solid but I suppose can look into the SMT, tubeless motard

Indeed. Ktm is a rare bike especially the adventure. I'm still dreaming of owning a ktm adventure and now that the 1190 is out, really drooling hahHa

The F800GS is also tubed spoke rims bro.

I mean there is a purpose for using tubes over tubeless due to the nature of what bikes like the F800GS, KTM adventures are capable of. Just because we don't utilise it in the way they are meant to doesb't warrant BMW or KTM to use tubeless just for convenience sake right? Should look into the conversion options gamerzdude.

Yes you can get the outex kit to change your ktm 990 adventure from tube to tubeless. Have gotten the kit but haven't been able to fix it up as i have been too busy. I barely ride the bike.I love the weight and handling of the KTM 990 adventure. Feels so agile compared to ST and GS. Don't get me wrong, ST and GS are excellent bikes as well.

Hi not many of us around. I've seen a few adventures but mostly ridden by expats. I'm on a 990 adventure. Yourself?

I mean most ktm riders low profile Lah...

well...have only been able to put near to 300km since i got it out early this month.
the electronic perks kind of fun to "play" with, very user friendly. The EDS configurations is very "noticeable" throughout the options.
the engine have a nice power deliverance, still limited to breaking in "criteria".
i think in gonna get my fuel to run on reserve soon, therefore 23l tank aprrox. 320km - 330km to reserve. kind of reasonable in my opinion.

aniway hi there, whats your ride? often touring?

    Thank you.

Good initial review by your good-self. At least 320km to reserve for the bigger tank this time round. Bet you will have plenty of fun with it in the next couple of years.

Who needs a tire iron and 32" axle nut combo wrench for removal of wheels for the 1190 or 990?

Brand new and should fit both bikes. Sold my bike so no use for it. Bought for $48. Sell for $30. Thanks. Pm me if keen.

Hi all. I'm letting my KTM Adventure 1190 go and have a LC8 / 690 LC4 Scottoiler to let go. Please PM me if keen. Item is brand new and unused. Didn't get a chance to instal it before I sold my bike.

    Ride safe!
